Granite Gorge Ski Area Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do you have snowmaking?
Yes, Granite Gorge has snowmaking to produce reliable great skiing conditions to the midstation, about 3/5 of the way up the mountain. We also have added this year 2 brand new 2006 Areco Super Snow Tower Fans, 7 new state-of-the-art nozzles for our LP3 Gooseneck watersticks, and new snowmaking and lighting on Liftline and Jumper trails, including the more difficult Jumper Terrain Park.
Can I take my child in the snow tube with me?
No, for safety reasons, only one person is allowed in a single tube. Granite Gorge Tubing Park offers a variety of Tube Pro© standard adult size Tubes and Mini-Tubes for smaller children, as well as new this year...Tubes for Two- great for parent-child tandem riding!
Will your lift will be operating to the top of the mountain this coming season and how many trails will be open?
The Pinnacle Express Double Chairlift is fully inspected and registered by the State of NH Department of Safety Tram Board to operate to the top of Pinnacle Mountain. We have every intention of doing so. We’ll need about a foot of good base natural snow and are very excited to open to the top. Granite Gorge has 17 trails we can open with good snow cover. Please check out our trail maps. Think Snow!
