Hey everybody this is Dave with your terrain park report for Feb. 17th 2010. The park crew has really been on top of things this winter. The Downtown Throwdown was a fun and successful event and big props to all of the vendors and competitors, everyone really threw down. Right now all of our park features are up on the hill making way for an entertaining way down the mountain no matter what run you choose!

I want to thank Joel Muzzey from Transworld Magazine for making the Transworld photo shoot at Granite Gorge happen. Greg Maxwell’s crew from Waterville Academy and Flow team rider Brandon Reis proved they had skills in the park and on the jump, great job everyone!!

If you weren't up here last Saturday for Mountain of Steez you really did miss out. We had east coast rippers from all over hit the park features scattered throughout the mountain including Ian Keay, Steve Anderson, Brandon Reis, Brandon Griffin, Shaun Murphy and many more! We continued the party with all of our sponsors into the night with a HUGE bonfire, so much fun!! Bean Snowboards offered snowboard demos, South American Snow Sessions showed different trips, and Vecta Blend apparel proved they had Steez. Thanks to everyone who came out and hung out into the night. Granite Gorge is a fun place to hang with your homies.

As we roll into spring time here at Granite we have a couple more events to wrap things up.

Junior Jam Series - February 20th and March 6th, you must be present at both events to claim prizes. $25.00 gains entry to both contests. 1:00pm start time 11-15 years old and 10 and under divisions

Also our 3rd Annual One Last Chance is going to be held on Sunday MARCH 14th (date change from the 13th). This event is a wrap on the season including live bands, vendors, swag and giveaways, rail jam, and one good time.

Hope to see you in the park, shredding the G-Spot!
