Granite Gorge Cross Country on
the north side of Otter Brook in the shadow of Pinnacle Mountain is in a cold hollow protected from the wind near Keene, NH. There are 14 km of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing and a 1 km fully lighted loop that is covered with machine-made snow and great for skiing on Friday and Saturday nights. The trails and snow conditions at Granite Gorge are some of the best in southern New Hampshire due to advantageous weather patterns and terrain and the alpine ski area facilities include slopes for skiing and snowboarding and a tubing park.
Open hours are Wed – Friday 12:00-4:30 & 10-4 PM on Saturday and Sunday.

Trail fees may just be the lowest in the region for XC skiing this
good. For XC skiing trial fees are $8 for skiers older than age 14,
and $6 for a half day starting at 12:00 noon; juniors aged 6-13,
seniors older than 65, and college students with a valid student ID
pay trail fees of $7 and $5 for a half day. Snowshoe trail fees
including rental equipment are $8 and kids under 5 can snowshoe for
free. Lessons are also available.
Granite Gorge has XC ski rental equipment for $18 per day or $10 for
a half day starting at 12 noon. Tubing rentals are two hours for $18
